J. Almas lives in the Chesapeake Bay Area of Maryland. In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her family and friends and interior decorating. Her love of mysteries, old houses and the supernatural have been with her since childhood and are an ever present inspiration for her to write .

The desire of her heart is to move to an historic property and continue her writing and researching on mysteries and the supernatural from her own back yard.
